Good things to have on your computer:

- Limewire - Great for downloading videos, music, anything

- Ad-Aware SE Personal Edition - This is a spyware/adware detector. Spyware collects info from your pc and sends it to other people. They can even infiltrate email and chat conversations. Adware is a horrible system that brings pop ups onto your screen constantly. If you have adware, you can get pop ups even without when you're not online. A lot of people don't know how to fix this problem. Use this program and problem solved. Kiss adware goodbye.

- Spyware Doctor - I actually have 2 spyware/adware programs, cause one will usually pick up something the other one missed.

- MSN messenger - Who doesn't have msn IM? Everyone and their mother has this.

- Anewsoft MP3 converter - Great for taking songs and turning them into MP3. Free trial.

- X Video Converter - Converts your movie files into mpeg.

- Google menu/tool bar - Great for stopping annoying pop ups. install it, and it'll show you how many pop ups it stops. awesome!

Bad things to have on your computer:

- Morpheus - Horrible! In my experience, everything I downloaded from there had a virus. If you're gonna download, use Limewire.
